Report illegal content
If you think something stored in Plan2Ship is illegal, for example a picture that infringes your copyright, an insult, or someone's personal data published without their consent, you can report it here. This is the reporting route under Art. 16 of the Digital Services Act (DSA).
How to report
Write to abuse@plan2ship.com, in German or English, with the subject "Report of illegal content". So that your report can be assessed, please include:
- Why the content is illegal, explained well enough to follow, and which law or right it breaks if you know.
- Where exactly it is. The best is the address from your browser's address bar while the content is open in the app (it names the project and the view). Add what to look for there: the task's title, the design document section, or the whiteboard element.
- Your name and email address. You may leave them out if the report concerns child sexual abuse material (Art. 16(2)(c) DSA).
- A statement that you believe in good faith that the information and allegations in your report are accurate and complete.
Projects in Plan2Ship are not public: only the people a project's owner invited can see them. If you are not a member, describe the content as precisely as you can (what it shows, whose it is, where you saw it).
What happens next
- You get a confirmation that the report arrived, if you gave an email address.
- The report is assessed carefully, objectively and without undue delay, by a person, not by an automated system.
- You are told the decision: whether the content was removed, access to it was disabled, or nothing was done, and why. You are also told how you can challenge the decision.
- If content is removed or access to it is disabled, the person who stored it is told so with the reasons (Art. 17 DSA): what was done, the facts and the law it rests on, and how they can object.
- If a report gives reason to suspect a criminal offence that threatens someone's life or safety, it is passed to the competent authorities (Art. 18 DSA).
Plan2Ship does not watch what you store in it. It acts on what it is told, and only as far as needed: a single picture or text is removed rather than a whole project, where that is enough.
Objecting to a decision
Whether you reported something or your content was affected, you can object within six months by replying to the decision or by writing to abuse@plan2ship.com. The decision is then looked at again. Your right to go to court is not affected.
Misuse
Reports that are clearly unfounded, sent again and again, can be dealt with after a warning by no longer handling reports from the same sender for a while.
Your data
The details in your report are used to handle it. Your name is passed on to the person whose content you reported only where that is needed to decide, for example in a copyright claim. More in the privacy notice.
